

Rev. Dr. James R. Riley
"One plants, one waters, but God gives the increase" I Corinthians 3:6 - Pastor James is a native of Baton Rouge, La and a proud graduate of Glen Oaks High School. Our Pastor served as a United States Marine and fought in the Iraq war.

Dr. Riley is a graduate of Liberty University with a concentration in Pastoral Leadership and Theology. Christian Education continues to be his passion as he assist youth and youth leaders grow their youth ministries through the Glory to Glory Youth and Leadership Conference.
Dr. Riley has also published a book entitled "After the Altar Call" which is a tool to assist new believers and those who teach new believers classes. The book centers around what happens with new believers from the time the leave the altar accepting Christ, through different situations that can arise following their decision to follow Christ.

Rev. Riley has stated publicly that the greatest honor of his life has been having the privilege and honor of marrying his beloved bride Mrs. Janecka Lamotte Riley. The bible says, "when a man finds a wife, he finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord". Dr. Riley believes that all that he has, all that he's been given is a result of his obedience to the voice of the Lord.

Pastor Riley has a huge heart for children and for the community. He is the founder of the Louisiana Leadership Coalition which solely focuses on community issues of injustice, poverty, education misopportunities and violent crime. He is also an Urban Congress for African American Men and Boys deligate. Dr. Riley has also received the esteemed honor of being the proud Pastor of The First Little Rock Missionary Baptist Chruch in South Baton Rouge. He believes that this was truly a God ordained union and excited about what God has in store for Pastor and people. There is never a moment to serve that is to small for your our Pastor.
